Ken Stabler is Manager, Economic Development, at Xcel Energy and is responsible for providing economic development services to existing and prospective industrial customers in Xcel Energy’s Minnesota jurisdiction. Specific responsibilities include developing and managing client projects and collaborating with state, regional and local development organizations on business retention and attraction efforts. Ken also represents Xcel Energy on boards or advisory committees of a number of local community and economic development organizations, including the Minnesota High Tech Association, BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, Twin Cities Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the Saint Paul Capital Fund. Ken is a member of the Economic Development Association of Minnesota and the International Economic Development Council. He holds a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign) and a B.A.. in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
